One of the most popular football clubs from Greece, P.A.O.K. FC is also one of the toughest competitors of the Super League Greece. The club was founded in 1926 and spent its early years playing in regional tournaments. After earning a reputation as one of the strongest teams from Thessaloniki, it moved to the newly formed Greek National League and took its form with it. With several Greek Cup and Super League trophies to its name it is one of the best teams outside the Greek top three. It is also one of the few teams that has never been relegated from the top tier.
