Colorado-based trio Aenka experiments with free jazz, avant-garde improvisation and distorted electronics with evident mastery. Since forming in 2007, the band has won over a small--but growing--fan base, impressed with its uncanny ability to produce something entirely unique at each live show. As the three musicians specialize in improvisation, the songs from their album will not be the songs an audience will witness at a live performance, but the style of Aenka's music remains the same, showcasing a blend of live instrumentation and electronic elements to impressive results.
