Elin Kaaven

Singer songwriter Elin Kaaven, is also a fusion dancer from the tundras of the north. Since the release of her debut EP in 2005, she has become known for her live performances, offering the crowed beauty and secrecy through her dancing. Her roots with the Sami people, nomads of the arctic circle, have influenced her music with folklore and mysticism. Kaaven's second full-length album was released in February of 2011, and expresses deep love for nature and mixes pop and jazz elements with traditional Sami music.
