Half from New York and half from Memphis, the quartet uses the real life off-and-on relationship of lead vocalists Jake Rabinbach and Shannon Esper as unmasked content for the band's music. Their bleeding heart songs about relationships and love act as a journal for the pair's trials and tribulations, resulting in an honest and wrenching fusion of indie music and first-person narratives. Their debut single, "Same Mistakes," debuted in June of 2011 under Cantora Records, followed by their EP in the fall of the same year.
