Zea is a band from Amsterdam that makes a characteristic style of music by blending angsty punk emotionalism with stern rhythms to create a fairly original style of music that is well suited for the Dutch music scene. The group released its debut LP, Kowtow to an Idiot, in 2000 and the album helped establish Zea as a forward thinking band that's not afraid to experiment with a sound in order to further progress an artistic message.
