Berlin-via-Canada DJ and producer Mathew Jonson has developed a name for himself for his ability to seamlessly blend analogue and digital methods of DJing, as well as for his unique fusion of electronic genres. Somewhat of a musical prodigy as a child, Jonson played a variety of classical instruments until he began delving into electronic music, experimenting with sequencers and sound modules by the age of 10. Since then, Jonson has forged a characteristic style that draws on drum and bass, techno, house and even jazz--an interesting amalgamation of sounds that keeps his audience guessing.
