Wardruna was formed in 2003 and is based in Norway. The Nordic folk band's debut album Runaljod – Gap Var Ginnunga hit the shelves in 2009. The band has popularly composed the score of the second season of the TV show Vikings. Runaljod – Yggdrasil, Skald and Kvitravn are some of the band's popular works.
