A popular purveyor of drum and bass music in Canada, DJ Spinz is a fail-proof choice for fans of the genre. Based out of Toronto, he got his start in music with BTK, a hip-hop group that experienced a decent amount of success with songs used in major motion pictures and opening slots for The Beastie Boys and Kid Rock. His passion always rested in drum and bass however, and after BTK disbanded he took to establishing his reputation as a jungle DJ. Known for his extremely high-energy stage presence, scratching skills and keen ear for mixing, DJ Spitz goes over well with both audiences and critics alikes, as evidenced by his sold out club shows and a nomination for the popular Juno music prize.
