Having been compared to The Velvet Underground, Trap Gold does not disappoint true appreciators of 1960s garage rock. Their music is stripped down with a three-piece drum set and carried by the resonating harmonies of Kelly Sullivan and Mikey Turi. The reverberating guitar from Ryan Bohan and bassist Chase Elliott's subtle synthy style give Trap Gold it's full sound. This four piece band from San Diego has successfully infiltrated the underground music scene with it's cool composure, snagging features on local music blogs and radio stations since the band released it's first, self titled EP in December of 2010. Trap Gold released a second EP, The Chooser, in the summer of 2011.
