Formed by beatsmith Asthmatic Astronaut and rapper/lyricist Harlequinade, Church of When the Shit Hits the Fan is a collaborative side project based out of Edinburgh. With a tongue-in-cheek band name--and one that's quite the mouthful--a listener might expect the same wordy witticisms in the duo's music, and that listener would be correct. The UK duo focuses on glitched-out, spacey beats and quirky, oddball raps spit in an old-school hip-hop style. After joining forces in 2010, Church of When the Shit Hits the Fan released a short debut EP and began performing at venues and festivals throughout Scotland.
