About
Taking its name from Captain Beefheart's song "Her Eyes are a Blue Million Miles," the Denver-based quartet Blue Million Miles formed in 2007. While the group cites Joy Division style post punk as a primary influence, and though it does incorporate some angular post punk rhythms and dark motifs, the band leans more toward alternative rock with gruff vocals and heavily distorted guitar work. Since forming, Blue Million Miles has developed a solid fan base that enjoys watching the progression it makes with each new release and each live show.
