Tom Deacon is a comedian and broadcaster from London that is perhaps best known on the British comedy scene for his work on television. In addition to making several appearances on BBC television shows and Comedy Central, Deacon also hosts a show on BBC 1 Radio that is doing much to increase his exposure throughout the UK and the world. Winner of the coveted Chortle "Student Comedian of the Year" award in 2007, the young Tom Deacon has since made good on his achievements, and went on to leave audiences in stitches during his solo stand-up debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2009.
