About
North Carolina Courage is a professional women's soccer team that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Founded in 2017, after the dissolution of Western New York Flash, the team has since gone on to become one of the dominating forces of the league. The team made its presence felt in its debut season with a first-placed finish in the league and second place in the playoffs. It picked up where it left off, in the next season and won the domestic double. Since then it has gone on to win all there is to win, including NWSL Championship, NWSL Shield and Women's International Champions Cup.
