Simon Munnery is an experimental stand-up comedian based in London who is perhaps best known for his somewhat off-the-wall stage names "Alan Parker: Urban Warriors" and "The League Against Tedium." Breaking out onto London's thriving mainstream comedy scene in 1997 with a show on BBC 1 Radio, and later with his BBC2 television series Attention Scum! in 2001, Munnery has since achieved a long list of achievements and acclaim for his peculiar brand of surreal stand-up comedy. Known for his unique fashion choices that include wearing tacky glasses and homemade clothes, Simon Munnery has also grown to become one of Britain's more recognizable comics.
