Based out of Los Angeles, Cosmic Suckerpunch (formerly Ghost Robot) fittingly has its roots in Hollywood, as it was founded by actor Ari Welkom and director Fabien Hameline. With a mutual love for the greats like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, it was easy for the duo to develop a musical direction it wanted to go in and recruit two more members to help. The result became a psychedelic-tinged breed of alternative rock with straightforward lyrics and high-octane live shows.
