As Tall As Buildings is an American rock band formed in Denver, Colorado. The group's four members all came from different parts of the country, including Austin, Seattle and Boston, before ultimately finding one another in the Mile High City. As Tall As Buildings plays an agreeable form of hook-heavy rock and roll that is built around catchy vocal melodies and shimmery guitar parts. The quartet seems to want little more than to play feel-good pop rock songs with a lack of overwrought bells and whistles, and its lack of pretension comes through in its breezy songwriting.
