Initially a geography teacher, Rob Rouse entered Edinburgh's "So You Think You're Funny" competition in 1998 and managed to win the highly sought-after award, giving him the momentum and publicity he needed to pursue a comedy career full time. His brand of humor revolves around slightly absurdist personal stories and imitations, and immediately wins over the audience. In between playing roles on multiple BBC sitcoms and sketch comedy shows, Rob Rouse still tours his stand-up routine, performing regularly throughout the UK and Australia.
