Phil Nichol

Born in the UK, but raised in Canada, Phil Nichol is known in both countries as a comedian of emerse talent. He got his start with the comedy-folk trio Corky and the Juice Pigs, known best for its song "(I'm the Only Gay) Eskimo," which was featured on MADtv. After the group broke up in the late 1990s, Nichol branched out on his own and began performing stand-up, as well as working in film and theatre. Nichol's brand of comedy is generally blunt and intentionally offensive at times, while surreal and over-the-top at others, but has impressed a large fan base and won the comedian multiple awards.
