With a resume that includes work with Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, The Smiths and Madonna (just to name a few), Guy Pratt has solidified himself in rock and pop history as one of the most prominent bass guitar session musicians of all-time. Born in London in 1962, Pratt began his career in the mid-1980s, playing with the likes of Robert Palmer and The Dream Academy. He caught his biggest break in 1987, however, when he was asked to join Pink Floyd on the world tour for its P*U*L*S*E and Delicate Sound of Thunder albums. This sparked a now legendary recording career that has found Pratt contributing to dozens upon dozens of notable albums throughout the end of the 20th Century and beyond. Apart from his studio and touring work, Pratt maintains his own solo career and also moonlights as an actor and a comedian.
