About

Like fellow UK contemporaries such as Snow Patrol and Aqualung, Royseven is a band prone to making emotive and large-scale pop-rock, overflowing with soaring vocal hooks. The Dublin six-piece came together based on a shared love of groups such as Muse, Jeff Buckley and Keane. Sure enough, the sweeping choruses and fragile, sensitive songwriting of those artists carries through in every bit of Royseven's music. After forming in 2003, the group found itself performing at popular Irish music festivals, such as Oxegen, just a few years later. Royseven also made a splash on the UK singles chart with 2010's "We Should Be Lovers," which spawned a hit music video.
