C156 is a Barcelona-based quartet that explores the fringes of electronic dance music, infusing dubstep, techno and breakbeat with classic sounds from its home country. Mixed into the skittering dubstep beats and rubbery bass squeals, listeners are likely to find characteristic Catalan rhythms and vocals sampled from decades of Spanish pop and dance music.
