Jodie Connor is an R&B/hip-hop singer/songwriter from Manchester, England who initially rose to fame for her vocals on the 2010 chart-topping single "Good Times," released by famed UK Grime collective Roll Deep. Since then, Connor has released a couple of singles to test the waters for her fame as a solo artist, and based on their chart performance, it looks like the young singer/songwriter is going to have a problem making it on the UK pop scene.
