Ella Hickson is a playwright and theatrical director from London who has become a celebrity of sorts to those familiar with the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, where she is won numerous awards for her play Eight in 2008. Following her play's impressive performance at the Fringe, Hickson went on to tour her play in New York, which met with outstanding critical acclaim and sold-out audiences. In 2011, Ella Hickson completed her second play Precious Little Talent, and has been named by The Guardian as one of the four young playwrights to watch in the future.
