Curious Directive is a collective of artists and scientists from all over the UK that combine their talents to create theatrical showcases that explore some of the more uncharted areas of the arts and sciences. Virtually unprecedented as a concept for theater, Curious Directive is more focused on the process of devising its performances than the actual performance itself--ensuring that the resulting work remains constantly fresh and informed by newly discovered knowledge. One of the few theatrical acts out there that works to combine art and science into an alchemical formula that seeks to educate audiences as much as it captivates and amazes them, Curious Directive not only contributes much to the UK's thriving art scene, but could end up sparking the scientific curiosity of a whole new generation of theater-goers.
