Aster is a Spanish ambient techno project based out of Barcelona. In its quieter moments, Aster's music drifts along with a dreamily mellow atmospheric mood that lulls listeners into a comfort zone of chill out and lounge tendencies. When it decides to ramp up the intensity, however, the group's music blossoms into dance-oriented passages full of disco-tinged house beats, swirling synthesizers and a glossy club chic. Aster has become a popular electronic pick around Spain and has even performed at some notable music festivals around Western Europe.
