Though Samantha Savage Smith may appear to possess the wide-eyed innocence of her youth, when she opens her mouth, her voice is far more reminiscent of the women who sing 1940s torch songs. Immediately heartbreaking and honest, Smith's music marks her as a songstress wise beyond her years and caught the attention of producer Lorrie Matheson, who helped the young singer/songwriter release a debut album in 2011. The Calgary, Canada based songstress has since begun to develop a name for herself and continues to impress audiences with her nostalgic voice.
