Samantha Hooey

Ontario, Canada-based singer/songwriter Samantha Hooey has become an inspirational artist for many; with a debut album about to be produced, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Lymphoma cancer in 2010. After going through chemotherapy, however, Hooey was deemed cancer-free and with a new outlook on life, she finished up her first full-length. While undergoing therapy, the drummer who helped with the studio recording of her album formed a full backing band to tour with Hooey, and the soft rock/folk songstress now performs with a fleshed out four-piece.
