Nans & Nat is a French-Canadian electropop duo consisting of Nans Bortuzzo and Nat Sukashi. Combining dense, synth-based bass lines and sturdy beats with an attention paid to 1980s pop-styled songwriting, the group's danceable sound has resonated well with fans in its home of Montreal. Bortuzzo and Sukashi build their tracks in an interesting fashion, choosing to work via email, each slowly adding layers to the material until they are both satisfied with the final product. Regardless of how they were created however, the results are cohesive and consistent in their glossy representation of the sound of modern French-Canadian dance pop.
