Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, band leader and multi instrumentalist John Shannon represents a new era of English folk and rock music--upgrading it to a younger generation while maintaining its many familiar tropes. Along with his band Wings of Sounds, Shannon writes and arranges the music to create full, lush sounding material that is best translated during live performances. The band plays frequently in and around the New York City area and is content bringing along a small but loyal following to each of their gigs.
