Light Fires is a minimal electro duo from Toronto. The group takes its primary influence from both the dance pop of singers such as Robyn, as well as from experimental electronic artists such as Cornelius. At the forefront are the expressive vocals courtesy of Regina, the group's drag queen lead singer who makes fashion and style a big part of Light Fires' sound. James Bunton serves as DJ and producer, building sparsely effective electro beats that dabble in cheesy 1980s tones and synthesizer lines.
