Formed by Dan Carriere, the guitarist from Ten Second Epic, DreamFace is a six-piece from Edmonton, Alberta that came about in late 2010. Striving to create the type of pop that reaches the Top 40 charts, DreamFace's music centers around the sugary-sweet vocals of front-woman Jasmine Ma and the staged chemistry between her and Carriere; the remainder of the band helps fill in the synth-heavy backing track, laden with hooks. As Carreire and Ma have both had experience and success writing pop songs for many prominent North American artists, they will undoubtedly etch out a place on the Canadian pop charts for themselves as well.
