Elgin-Skye is a Canadian indie pop songwriter from British Columbia who is now based out of Montreal. Her song arrangements are usually sparse, often relying on only ukulele or acoustic guitar, but her rubbery, powerful voice is full of quirky idiosyncrasies that have led to comparisons with liked-minded artists such as Joanna Newsom and Kimya Dawson. Elgin-Skye's eccentric take on twee-tinged indie folk have made her a popular favorite around the Quebec music scene.
