With its members coming from rather disparate backgrounds, Canadian four-piece Dinsmore attempts to combine equally disparate genres in its music. One part hip-hop, one part alternative funk-rock, one part singer/songwriter folk and one part heavy metal, Dinsmore's characteristic style has become known as an unusual amalgamation of styles that appeals to a diverse audience. Based out of Mississauga, Ontario, the band began building a fan base after forming n 2010 and released its debut EP with the help of Nickelback's producer Dale Penner in 2011.
