Darlings of Chelsea

Formed by various members of rock and punk bands throughout Canada, Darlings of Chelsea is a Toronto-based four-piece that writes propulsive hard rock material. The band made a splash right away with the release of its debut album, The Mimico Sessions, in 2009, which earned it tons of positive ink and plays on radio stations throughout Canada. It's easy to see the punk rock backgrounds of Darlings of Chelsea's members come though in the band's music, as two guitars crank out frenetic, distorted guitars riffs that are bolstered by hard-hitting rhythms. The band has developed a reputation as being an unpredictable live act due to its intense and somewhat aggressive stage presence.
