Danielle Duval is a Canadian pop-rock artist currently based in Montreal and Toronto. Taking her main inspiration from some prominent female rock songwriters, including Joan Jett, Patti Smith and Chrissy Hynde, she writes uptempo, piano-driven songs that draw from the energy of the aforementioned artists as well as 1990s alternative rock. Duval's voice is a strong selling point for those unfamiliar with her music, as her vocals carry her songs with an impressive degree of melodic versatility.
