Armen at the Bazaar

Armen at the Bazaar is a one-man indie rock project based out of Montreal. Using a loop station to layer handfuls of individually performed drum beats, guitar lines and vocal parts, his songs build from sparse ambiance to anthemic, fully-formed indie rock songs right in front of his listeners' ears. Like many of his peers currently making music in the bustling Montreal music scene, Armen at the Bazaar complements his more poppy leanings with an adventurously experimental side. His arrangements and melodies often snake and wind in unpredictable directions, keeping listeners on their toes in regard to what might come next. His unique performance methods and quality songwriting have made him an important new fixture in the Montreal indie rock circuit.
