While the group Clockwize Sound might be from Kingston, Ontario and not Kingston, Jamaica, it still incorporates a fair share of elements from reggaeton and ska into its music. The four-piece primarily falls under the alternative rock umbrella with themes centralized around partying, and therefore more reggae-inspired influences fit well into its style. Since forming in 2008, Clockwize Sound has had no trouble securing a fan base in college towns across Canada and with major label interest surrounding the band, it will likely go on to have a successful career.
