Chang-a-Lang is a garage rock band from Toronto, Canada that draws its inspiration from the strong power punk acts, evidenced by the band's particularly driving rhythm section and overall sound. Led by the charismatic front man Sonny Boy Okamoto, Chang-a-Lang is celebrated by many in the Toronto area as being an almost uncanny throwback to some of the great punk acts to drive the genre during the 1980s. Although the trio still has some way to go in getting its name out, Chang-a-Lang's better known single "Ruth Was a Communist" should give new listeners a great idea of what they're in for.
