100 Mile House is a stripped-down Canadian folk band based out of Edmonton, Canada. The group crafts a style of music that manages to combine the traditional instrumentation and songwriting style of traditional folk with the more twee-sounding arrangements of modern variations of the genre. With just mandolin, acoustic guitar, light drumming, upright bass and male/female vocal interplay, the four-piece pens songs full of vibrant, sunny melodies that are sure to resonate with fans of rootsy folk graced with some tasteful modern elements.
