The Star Department

The Star Department is a Dublin-based four-piece that places delicate indie folk with charming hooks. Initially gaining positive press with the release of its debut EP in 2006, which garnered the band international airplay and accolades from various publications that dubbed it as one of the best up-and-coming bands. Despite the many predictions that the band was destined for greatness, The Star Department dissolved shortly thereafter. However, by 2010, the band returned with a slightly different lineup and picked up where it left off, playing international festivals and planning the release of a debut full-length album.
