London-based Peter Blundell and James Dunn make up the experimental noise outfit Temperatures. Relying heavily on unusually distorted vocals, feedback and jarring drum beats, the duo's music is far from easily palatable, but provides an interesting and well thought out dynamic that merits appreciation. While the two musicians have intentionally remained low-key, releasing limited copies of 7" records, after Sonic Youth front man Thurston Moore stumbled across them and named them his new favorite band, singing their praises during interviews with prominent music publications, Temperatures found itself with a newly expanded fan base.
