Unusually procreative, Marta Wiley is a young singer/songwriter, visual artist and author, with more than 100 albums to her name. Wiley, who performs music simply as Marta, prefers not to limit herself to one style of music, but can generally be categorized as a piano-based singer/songwriter, in the realm of Tori Amos and Fiona Apple. Before the age of 30, Wiley had already started her own production company--to keep up with the amount of albums she felt compelled to release--participated in multiple art installations and produced a best-selling poster "Lepa Zena" in China. The Mexican-born, Florida-raised artist prefers the songwriting process over the live performance and therefore rarely tours her exorbitant catalog of music, but does occasionally perform at international festivals.
