Rosie and Me is a five-piece indie folk band from Curitiba, Brazil that achieved a substantial amount of recognition for a collection of demos distributed over the internet, garnering the band listeners and new fans. Since then, Rosie and Me has been invited to numerous venues and festivals around the world, including Canada's famed North By Northeast festival in 2011. Trying their hardest to set themselves apart from the growing legions of indie folk bands in the world today, the members of Rosie and Me attempt to fuse the folk sounds and rhythms of their native region of southern Brazil and have managed to hit upon something that is not only crowd-pleasing, but highly original as well.
