Jean Caffeine

A veteran of the underground music scene, Jean Caffeine has played with multiple bands in her lifetime, including an all-girl punk band in the 1970s and an alternative country group in the 1990s. The Austin native started to focus on her solo career in the early 2000s, melding the styles of music she had played in the past into her own breed of singer/songwriter-styled alternative country with snarly vocals and pop hooks. Having since relocated to Durham, North Carolina, Jean Caffeine has found just as eager of a fan base on the East Coast as she had in Texas.
