About
Belle Phoenix is a singer/songwriter from Australia who is now based in the UK. Arriving in London after a six month stint in Germany, Phoenix's Gothic and punk influences began to bleed together to form her now characteristic style of dark, driving alternative rock and post punk. In contrast to the sometimes sparsely atmospheric and moody qualities of her recorded material, her live sets are driven by visceral, fleshed-out arrangements provided by her four-piece band. Phoenix released her debut EP, Nine Lives, in late 2010.
