Karim (aka DJ Karim) is the stage name for Karim Lamouri, a French/Moroccan electronic musician, producer and DJ based in London who is perhaps best known for his work in the hard house/dance genre. Known as a pioneer in the particularly heavy genre of electronic dance music, DJ Karim's no-holds-barred style of mixing took a while to catch on above and beyond a select cult following of fans who almost immediately saw the potential of the young British artist. However, now that electronic music and its various sub genres have reached a certain degree of mainstream popularity in this day and age, DJ Karim's popularity now is certainly higher than it ever was, and is now considered by many to be one more skilled DJs performing in the hard house genre today.
