About
The New York Philharmonic symphony orchestra is the longest standing one of its kind in America. Established in 1842 by local performers, it has gone on to play over 14,000 concerts; an impressive feat for the music world. The New York Philharmonic performs around 180 concerts per year, so there are many opportunities to catch this symphony orchestra in action.
