Based on the 1938 black and white film St. Martin's Lane, Busker Alley was first conceptualized in the mid-60s but didn't see the light of day until 1995 when it premiered at the Macauley Theatre in Louisville, KY. The musical is about a busker who falls for a very young and ambitious woman who wants nothing but to make it big in the entertainment industry. "Blow Us A Kiss," "Tap Happy Feet," "Tin Whistle Tune" and "Waiting for Ann" are some of the popular numbers of this musical.
