Spinna is the stage name for Vincent Williams, an electronic musician and DJ from New York City who, despite his universally acclaimed talent for mixing, prefers to remain a purely independent, underground artist. Known for possessing an extensive knowledge of his craft that is rooted in experimenting with turntables at the age of 11, DJ Spinna has grown to become a mixing legend of sorts, currently working in electro-funk, hip-hop and soul. As of today, DJ Spinna has numerous collaborations and remix credits for such famed acts as Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Mos Def, and his career will likely continue to thrive in the shadows he feels comfortable inhabiting.
