Om Unit is an electronic music producer from London who creates a style of music that defies categorization. The structural elements of his songs can be placed into various genres, but the packaged whole that Om Unit creates is an amalgamation of so many styles and influences that it'd do the music a disservice to label it in any strict sense. Shortly after turning heads with his first solo outing, The Timps, in 2011, Om Unit was the toast of the London electronic music scene with his characteristic style of methodically produced music and as his songs continue to infiltrate various electronic niche scenes around the world, his notoriety will undoubtedly continue to grow.
